This project shows the development and end result of a painting I completed during a color theory experimentation. I used acrylic paint, straws, and water to create this painting on a 9"x12" canvas. I created the paint colors through color mixing and optical mixing. I used the straws to blow air across the canvas to splatter the watery paint. I incorporated a found object in the piece, which is a dried up orange peel. The peel adds texture and a 3-D quality to the painting.
